Late fall of 2025 I spent two days aboard Varg — Norrøna's new sailing vessel — out in Lofoten. The brief was interior photography: a beautifully custom-designed space, complete with its own sauna and the kind of craftsmanship you stop and notice.
What nobody warns you about is how physically demanding that kind of shoot becomes on a boat. Torstein Greni and I were constantly adapting — crouching, stepping over each other, finding angles that simply don't exist until you commit to them. Captain Jan Fasting kept the whole expedition steady, and his son Magnus made sure nothing fell through the cracks.
The images speak for themselves. But behind them is a team, a very small boat, and two days in some of the most beautiful water in the world.
